Refund Policy

Effective date: June 23, 2026

Honest Shift Publishing & Consulting, operating online as Honest Shift Publishing, sells digital educational products and related digital access.

This Refund Policy explains when purchases are final, how access problems are handled, and what customers should do when they believe a billing or payment problem has occurred.

By completing a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. All Sales Are Final

Honest Shift Publishing sells digital educational products, including interactive manuals, worksheets, templates, learning tools, videos, digital resources, and related access products.

All sales are final.

Once payment has been completed and access to the purchased product has been provided, the purchase is nonrefundable.

Honest Shift Publishing does not provide returns, exchanges, store credits, or refunds because a customer changes their mind or decides that the product is no longer wanted.

A refund may be provided only when:

  1. It is required by applicable law

  2. It is required by the rules or final decision of the sales, payment, or access platform used for the purchase

  3. A verified duplicate or incorrect charge occurred

  4. The purchased product cannot be delivered and the access problem cannot be corrected

  5. Another exception described in this Refund Policy applies

2. Why Digital Purchases Are Final

Our products are delivered digitally and may be accessed, viewed, downloaded, copied, saved, or used immediately after purchase.

A digital product cannot be returned in the same condition as a physical product after access has been provided.

For that reason, refunds are not normally available after delivery or access begins.

3. Customer Responsibility Before Purchase

Before completing a purchase, customers are responsible for reviewing:

  1. The product title

  2. The product description

  3. The included materials

  4. The digital format

  5. The intended audience

  6. The listed features

  7. The price

  8. Any access duration

  9. Any technical or account requirements

  10. This Refund Policy

Customers should contact Honest Shift Publishing before purchasing when they have a question about what a product includes.

Questions may be submitted through the Support or Contact page.

4. Reasons That Do Not Qualify for a Refund

A refund will not normally be issued because a customer:

  1. Changed their mind after purchasing

  2. Purchased the product by mistake

  3. Did not fully read the product description

  4. Did not use, read, watch, download, or complete the product

  5. No longer wants or needs the product

  6. Expected information, features, services, or support that were not listed in the product description

  7. Disagrees with the writing style, format, organization, length, teaching approach, or level of detail

  8. Believes the product is too basic, too detailed, too difficult, or not personally useful

  9. Already knew some or all of the information presented

  10. Purchased a similar product from another company

  11. Did not achieve a specific personal, educational, career, business, financial, athletic, health, or life result

  12. Experienced a change in personal circumstances after purchasing

  13. Failed to access or use the product while access was available

  14. Cannot use the product because of a personal device, internet connection, browser, software, email, account, or compatibility problem that was not caused by Honest Shift Publishing

  15. Shared product files, account information, access links, or download links with another person

  16. Lost access because the customer violated platform rules, account rules, licensing terms, or product use restrictions

5. Product Access and Delivery Problems

A technical access problem does not automatically qualify a customer for a refund.

Customers who cannot access a purchased product should contact Honest Shift Publishing through the Support or Contact page or through the platform where the purchase was completed.

The customer should provide:

  1. Their full name

  2. The email address used for the purchase

  3. The product name

  4. The purchase date

  5. The order number, receipt number, or transaction number

  6. A clear explanation of the problem

  7. A screenshot when available

Honest Shift Publishing may use this information to:

  1. Confirm the purchase

  2. Restore access

  3. Resend delivery information

  4. Correct or replace a damaged file

  5. Provide an updated access link

  6. Refer the matter to the sales, payment, or access platform

The customer must allow Honest Shift Publishing a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the issue.

When the purchased product cannot be delivered and the access problem cannot be corrected, the matter will be handled according to applicable law and the rules of the platform used for the transaction.

6. Duplicate and Incorrect Charges

A verified duplicate or incorrect charge may be corrected.

A duplicate charge means the same customer was charged more than once for the same purchase because of a billing or payment processing error.

An incorrect charge means the amount collected did not match the amount the customer agreed to pay.

A duplicate charge does not include:

  1. Purchasing two different products

  2. Purchasing the same product through two separate completed transactions

  3. Completing an additional purchase intentionally

  4. A purchase made by another person who had access to the customer account, device, email, or payment method

Honest Shift Publishing may request receipts, bank records, transaction records, or other information needed to confirm the billing error.

7. Unauthorized Transactions

A customer who believes a purchase was made without permission should contact Honest Shift Publishing, the sales platform, and the payment provider promptly.

An unauthorized transaction claim will be treated as a payment security matter rather than an ordinary refund request.

Honest Shift Publishing may:

  1. Suspend or terminate product access while the matter is investigated

  2. Request purchase and account information

  3. Refer the matter to Whop, Stripe, the payment provider, the card issuer, or another appropriate platform

  4. Preserve records connected to the transaction

Customers are responsible for protecting their passwords, email accounts, devices, payment methods, product files, and access links.

8. Educational Products and Results

Honest Shift Publishing products are educational resources.

They are designed to provide information, structure, exercises, questions, tools, examples, and practical next steps.

Purchasing or using an Honest Shift Publishing product does not guarantee a specific result.

Results depend on factors that may include:

  1. The customer’s effort

  2. The customer’s decisions

  3. The customer’s actions

  4. The customer’s experience

  5. The customer’s circumstances

  6. The customer’s participation

  7. Factors outside the control of Honest Shift Publishing

Dissatisfaction with a result does not create a right to a refund.

9. Professional Advice

Honest Shift Publishing products are provided for educational and informational purposes.

They are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, mental health, financial, tax, investment, employment, academic, or other licensed advice.

Customers are responsible for deciding when professional assistance is appropriate for their situation.

A customer’s decision to seek professional advice after purchasing does not create a right to a refund.

10. Purchases Through Whop and Other Platforms

Honest Shift Publishing products may be sold, paid for, delivered, or accessed through Whop, Stripe, Authflow, or another sales, payment, or access platform.

Customers may also be subject to the rules, terms, refund procedures, dispute procedures, and access requirements of the platform used for the transaction.

Customers purchasing through Whop should also review the Whop Buyer Terms.

Payment processing may also be subject to the policies and procedures of Stripe or another payment provider. Information about Stripe disputes is available through the Stripe Disputes documentation.

A seller refund policy does not remove any right that cannot legally be excluded.

When applicable law or a final platform decision requires a different result, Honest Shift Publishing will follow that requirement.

11. Regional Consumer Rights

Customers in certain countries or regions may have statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or consumer protection rights.

For some digital products, a statutory withdrawal right may end after the customer:

  1. Agrees that digital delivery or access will begin immediately

  2. Acknowledges that beginning delivery or access may end the withdrawal right

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits a legal right that cannot be waived or excluded.

When a required consent or acknowledgment was not properly obtained, the customer may retain rights provided by applicable law.

12. Refund Requests Through a Platform

A customer who purchased through Whop or another platform may submit a request through that platform’s support or dispute process.

Honest Shift Publishing may provide the platform with information including:

  1. The product description

  2. The Refund Policy shown at the time of purchase

  3. Proof of customer agreement

  4. Order and payment records

  5. Delivery records

  6. Product access records

  7. Download records

  8. Customer communications

  9. Support records

  10. Records showing that the product was accessed or used

The final outcome may be governed by the platform’s rules and procedures.

13. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers should contact Honest Shift Publishing before submitting a payment dispute or chargeback so that delivery, access, billing, or technical concerns can be reviewed.

A chargeback is not the same process as a seller approved refund.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically establish that the customer is entitled to a refund.

Honest Shift Publishing may respond to a payment dispute by providing relevant evidence to the payment provider, card issuer, bank, or platform.

Relevant evidence may include:

  1. The product description

  2. The price shown at purchase

  3. The Refund Policy

  4. Proof that the customer accepted the terms

  5. Order and payment records

  6. Delivery and access records

  7. Download or usage records

  8. Customer communications

  9. Support records

  10. Records showing that access was suspended after a dispute was submitted

Product access may be suspended or terminated while a payment dispute or chargeback is under review.

A chargeback decision is generally made under the rules of the card issuer, bank, card network, payment provider, or platform involved.

14. Acceptance of This Policy

By completing a purchase after being shown or given access to this Refund Policy, the customer confirms that they:

  1. Reviewed the product description

  2. Understand that the product is digital

  3. Understand what is included with the purchase

  4. Understand that results are not guaranteed

  5. Understand that all sales are final

  6. Understand that ordinary change of mind refunds are not provided

  7. Agree that the purchase becomes nonrefundable once access is provided, except when a refund is required by law or platform rules

Customers who do not agree with this Refund Policy should not complete the purchase.

15. Checkout Disclosure

The following disclosure should be displayed before payment whenever the checkout platform allows it:

All sales are final. Honest Shift Publishing sells digital educational products, including interactive manuals. Once payment is completed and access is provided, the purchase is nonrefundable except where required by applicable law or platform rules. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you reviewed the product description and agree to the Refund Policy.

The words Refund Policy should link to this page when technically possible.

16. Changes to This Refund Policy

Honest Shift Publishing may update this Refund Policy when business operations, products, delivery methods, platform requirements, or legal requirements change.

The policy in effect at the time of purchase will normally apply to that purchase unless a different result is required by applicable law or platform rules.

The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
